RATIONALE
Engineering Drawing is  the precise means  of  communicating the ideas of the engineer, designer, architect to the workmen who will produce/build the desired object. It is necessary that all diploma engineers have command over making and reading of engineering drawing and have thorough understanding of geometric principles of orthographic projection upon which engineering drawing is based

Development  of  surfaces  for  the  following:  Cube,Cylinder, Prism, Cone and frustum cone

ISOMETRIC PROJECTIONS           
Isometric Scales. Isometric views of simple objects. Isometric views for slots and cuts in the objects

STANDARD CONVENTIONS AND SYMBOLS
Conventions as per IS Codes. Symbols as per Codes.The  conventions  and  symbols  are  for  Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

APPLICATION OF CAD(COMPUTER AIDED   DRAFTING)
Arc & curve. Sectional view of simple objects. Isometric projections of simple objects. Practicing  examples  on  simple  building  plans  and machine elements
